399 Edgware Road will bring the flavours and spices of the Orient and Far East to Brent. An oriental and far eastern restaurant, foodcourt, specialist grocers and other retail outlets are central to the regeneration scheme.
The developer is working with specialist advisors from the local oriental community to bring exotic tastes, authentic retailers and a unique shopping experience to 399 Edgware Road. The new retail concept will respect the special history of the site, creating a cultural hub for a wide range of communities.
The new foodcourt at 399 Edgware Road will provide outlets for authentic cuisine from all over the Far East, including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia.
A wide pavement in front of the retail units will be carefully designed and landscaped to create an area which can be used for outdoor trading and specific community events or local celebrations, such as Chinese New Year.
Plans are being prepared for the retail units and the development team is investigating the potential to bring oriental mini-markets, grocers, a bakery, a bank, an accountancy office and other retail and professional facilities to the site.
